Holding both spiritual and economic importance, the Ubud Monkey Forest is located in Padangtegal village in Bali. It is home to around 700 monkeys and more than 180 species of trees scattered over more than 10 hectares of land. This unique forest also contains three ancient Hindu temples dating back to 13th Century. You can explore the lush green forest and say hello monkeys swinging from one place to another. Hanging roots from tall banyan trees and moss-covered sculptures make you feel like you are walking around in an ancient world.
