Scuba diving in Thailand

If you are like us and love to explore marine life, you should not miss out on scuba diving experience in Thailand. The underwater world is simply enchanting.

On the very first day after reaching Phi Phi Island, we booked our scuba lessons to make sure we had enough pool training before our actual dives. Once our instructors gave us a green light, we booked two back to back dives. Our scuba trip itinerary included a few snorkelling stops around Pileh Lagoon, scuba dives near the Viking Cave and a delicious lunch.

We rented a speedboat from our hotel and left bright and early at around 7 am to avoid overcrowded snorkelling spots at the Pileh Lagoon. The boat ride was an exciting journey in itself. You can simply sit back, relax and enjoy the gentle ocean breezes and amazing panoramic views as the boat passes through majestic sea cliffs over the clear turquoise water.
Pileh Lagoon is probably one of the most fascinating places on Earth. The panoramic view of turquoise water surrounded by 100-meter high cliffs that are covered with green shrubs and mosses is simply breath-taking. After snorkelling for a few hours we decided to go for scuba diving to feel the real ocean.

If you haven’t tried scuba diving, I urge you to go for it when you get a chance. It feels like you are entering an unknown underwater world. There is just so much to explore. The feeling of being weightless and floating around in the endless ocean is both scary and thrilling at the same time. There is something therapeutic about spending some time underwater and experiencing the unknown world.

While you are submerged underwater with your scuba gear on, you can experience full freedom of being able to move around in all three dimensions like a fish swimming freely in the ocean. You can have a deep and meaningful personal experience if you simply pause, breathe and allow the ocean to communicate with you.

Explore as many dimensions of this limitless existence as you can through your five senses while are here.

Don’t just exist. Live!
