Trafalgar Square – a vibrant public square in Central London

Did you know that Trafalgar Square is named after the Battle of Trafalgar that took place during Napoleonic War with France and Spain in early 18th Century? Decorated with monumental statues and fountains, the square is surrounded by historic buildings, galleries and museums. If you want to reach Trafalgar Square using metro, the nearest train station is Charing Cross and Leicester Square.
