We all know Hong Kong as one of the most thriving cities of the world due to its booming economy, dynamic culture and remarkable culinary expertise. With no sales tax, it attracts shoppers from across the globe all around the year. However, last time when we were in Hong Kong, we explored the city as tourists and visited Victoria Peak, Hong Kong Harbour, Disney Land, Ocean Park and Madame Tussauds Museum.

If you visit Hong Kong, you have to visit the Victoria Peak. It offers the best bird eye view of the city. We took a bus to reach to the Peak, but you can either take a train or walk up there if you feel like going for an adventurous hike. The scenic hike to the Victoria Peak is filled with natural beauty.

During our Honk Kong Harbour cruise, we got a chance to see the impressive skyline of Honk Kong. But the view from Victoria Peak offered a totally different perspective of the city. It is amazing how far you can see on a clear day. If you loved the fantastic 360 degree view of the city during the day, just wait till you see the city sparkling with colourful lights at night.

Another way to enjoy a spectacular view of the city is the Ocean Park Cable Car ride between the Waterfront and the Summit. Even if you do not go inside the Ocean Park for the exciting rides or other attractions, the cable car ride in itself is worth the view. On a clear sunny day you can enjoy breath-taking views of the sea, sky and surrounding hills of Hong Kong.

While we were in Hong Kong, we also visited Disneyland and became kids again. Although it’s aimed at a younger demographic, we had a lot of fun since it was our first time going to Disneyland. The vibrant Flight of Fantasy Parade was nothing like I had ever seen before. All the major Disney characters made an appearance in colourful costumes. Spectacular floats combined with joyful Disney soundtrack made the parade even more enjoyable.
